Your Second Visit to Our Seattle Practice

Seattle area chiropractic patients appreciate we explain things first.

During your second office visit, you can expect to spend from 20 minutes to half and hour with us.

This is when you'll receive your report of findings, when we show you your x-ray films, discuss your problems, and find out how you responded to your first adjustment.  You'll check in at the front desk, and an office staff member will show you to an adjustment room.  One of the doctors will go through all of your findings, answer your questions, and give you a plan for your treatment.  You will also receive a spinal adjustment.

Dr. David & Dr. Kelly Asks some important questions of interest to Seattle residents - Chiropractor Seattle Dr. David & Dr. Kelly Asks...

What's the difference between a "good" drug and a "bad" drug?
As a chiropractor, I see the use of many drugs (legal or illegal) as merely symptom treating. Worse, virtually every drug produces unwanted effects. The effects of chiropractic are largely positive effects. If you're a Seattle parent, consider carefully before giving your child a cough medication, cold remedy or pain reliever so this sort of question doesn't arise in the first place.
Why are chiropractors wary of the germ theory?
Louis Pasteur originated the idea that germs caused disease. Yet, on his deathbed he recanted, declaring, "It's not the seed, but the soil." Meaning, it's not the germ that causes disease, but the condition of the body that allows the germ to thrive. Chiropractic care in our Seattle office is designed to bolster your resistance so germs don't see you as a good host.
